This year's Texas retreat will be held at the beautiful University Camp in Wimberley, TX. Join us for this magical mermaid summer camp experience! Mingle with other beautiful mermaids, splash in the sun and enjoy this amazing riverside location. Don't have a mermaid tail? No problem! Each attendee will have the opportunity to model one of our otherworldly, lifelike silicone tails. The team from Flashpool Productions will be photographing the retreat, so you'll be sure to take home plenty evidence of your mermaid transformation. Bunk-beds, campfires and friends await you at the 2017 Texas Mermaid Retreat!

Everyone is invited! Mermen, mer-handlers, mer-family! Come one, come all and experience the magic! The Texas Mermaid Retreat is a family-friendly, not-for-profit event and all proceeds go to charity. This year, proceeds will benefit The Rainbow Railroad, an amazing group who is helping LGBT people escape persecution in Chechnya.

University Camp is a 126-acre hideaway on the scenic Blanco River boasting two lodges, six campsites, four day-use sites, and several miles of hiking/biking trails. The lush pecan bottoms, scenic overlook, and clear waters of the Blanco River provide a place to enjoy nature in a family-oriented atmosphere.
